It was necessary to make sure that everything was in place and it was the best it can get.

And then... it was time for opening!
This was created, hoping to minimize our spendings in the proj.
Our first visitor...

Mr. David Liew.

Our supervisor Ms Wai Leng was next. ;)
The others who came...

Customized matchboxes we gave out as sourvenirs.

After every visit, we took turns to go inside the installation to remove the Post It notes we allowed visitors to stick anywhere (interactive purpose).
This is to ensure that the feeling of the room we initially wanted to give the visitors will remain the same for our next visitor and that the identity of the artist would still not be changed with the many different notes written by our visitors.
Also, we had to ensure that things were still in place and in their correct positions.
For safety purposes, candles were only lighted before visitors enter and they were blown out after they leave.
Candles were not left lighted without supervision in case a fire might break out in the exhibition hall.
We managed to hit our target of 30 visitors on first day and actually exceeded the number!
We even had support from other schools' students.
At the end of Day 1's exhibition, we went into our installation made sure that everything in our installation were still in place and still intact. Did some tidying up by removing many Post It notes pasted by our visitors as well as arranging some things back into position.
It's a wrap for Day 1. :)
